Conference workshops will explore: children of incarcerated parents, immigrant fathers, fathers in the military, fathers as gang members, cultural images of fatherhood, developmentally disabled fathers, economic stability and father involvement, the role of the church (fatherhood, faith and spirituality), a model fatherhood program for Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department

*This course meets qualifications for six hours of continuing education credit. Continuing education units will be offered for PSY, MFT, and LCSW as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (Provider # PCE 498), and the American Psychological Association. Children’s Institute, Inc. maintains responsibility for this program and its content. Certificates of attendance will be distributed at the registration table following the last workshop session.
